New Look
I sort of revamped my site slightly. It needs a bit of tweaking but it's pretty much done for now. I'll get to touch ups later. I also have a new comments thing. I don't know if I like it or not. It's easier to manage and I can customize it's look, but I'll have to play with it a bit and see how it goes.

My internet connection has been freaky weird all weekend. Hopefully it's fixed now. I actually hate all of the internet providers for one reason or another. Boo! So if anyone was looking for me online, now you know why I haven't been on. Aside from the fact I've been in hermit mode for a long time now. :p

Anyway, Vanessa (YAY) gave us her old Christmas tree so I'm totally in Christmas mode. I must find a way to stand the tree, and then we decorate! Yay! We bought some of those LED christmas lights. We bought a few different brands and types, and from what we got, the little spheres seem to glow the best and the Noma brand ones have the most vibrant colours. So I guess I recommend Noma LED spheres. They're on sale at Canadian Tire too!

Random Ramblings
Christmas is only a month away! I'm so excited for Christmas this year. My plan is to bake cookies until I cannot look at cookies anymore! I'm currently working on my wishlist which I hope to have online for my family today or tomorrow.

Personal life stuff, I've been burnt out from working I think. I'm sure the PMS hasn't help that stress level out at all. Last two days or so have been much more relaxing. I'm also going to make a new site for Four Color Arcade and I think I almost settled on a new name for it. My new fridge is totally awesome! I did not get a DS yet. I probably won't anytime soon since we're getting a car. Not like I've had the time to play with one right now.

And I'm tired of the Conservatives' anti-gay marriage agenda. Bloody heck, there are more pressing issues in the world! Let the provinces decide if it's legal or not. More than half of them already had legalized it!

We just had a provincial election and one of the things tagged onto it was a mock senate election. In Canada, we have the lamest Senate. They're all appointed by the Prime Minister and they keep their jobs until they die. Literally. The provincial government of Alberta, which is currently the Progressive Conservatives, are pushing for senate reform and have an elected senate. So the province spent $3 million dollars on this mock senate election that probably won't be recognized by the federal government. Hoorah! The beauty of this is the federal government is arrogant and the alberta government is also arrogant. So NOTHING will be done about it!

I'm disappointed in voters too. So many of them RANDOMLY picked people for the senate job! Way to go, apathy! That's the stupidest thing ever. Just don't vote if you don't know! So what did I do anyway? I refused my ballot. We have the right to refuse to vote which is a protest vote and it is recorded as a refused ballot. Personally, I say abolish the senate. It's useless. Senate reform should be forming a responsible body of government. It should more than just voting for someone to sit and rot.

And I guess I'm an Amiga...

Which operating system are you?

What It Means To Be Pro-Canadian
This is funny but it didn't occur to me until now to post it.
04 NOVEMBER 2004, OTTAWA - In the House of Commons, Opposition Leader Stephen Harper accused Martin of failing to stamp out the "anti-American rhetoric" in the Liberal party. Harper criticized one Liberal MP for blaming America for global terrorism.

Martin initially side-stepped the accusation, pointing to the Liberal government's cooperation with the U.S. in fighting terrorism.

But when Harper raised the subject again, Martin defended his party. He slammed Harper for appearing last year on Fox News and writing a letter in the Wall Street Journal criticizing Canada for not supporting the war in Iraq.

"We are not anti-Americans. Canadians are not anti-American. We are pro-Canadian. And I will tell you what pro-Canadian means.

"It means we would not go down to the United States and use an American television network to slam Canada.

"It means we would not write articles in the Wall Street Journal criticizing our country. We will have our debates within Canada," Martin said.
Ten points to Paul Martin.

Ms. Chan-tastic!
This is my first draft. I think Manga fans and Takara doll collectors will see the major influences in her design.

HTML Colour Quiz
you are darkviolet
#9400D3

Your dominant hues are blue and magenta. You're the one who goes to all the parties but doesn't quite fit in at every one... you know what you want, but are afraid of what the world might think of it. You're a little different and that's okay with them, and if you're smart it's okay with you too.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

Tricks with Treats!
We only had two kids come to the door this year.

And I stare at this 2.27 kilogram sack of gumballs and jawbreakers Dean bought.

And then I remember.

We own a slingshot.
