So Tired

Bronchitis still lingering. Wednesday I got worst. Thursday I got a bit better but not as good as a few days ago and I am incredibly sleepy. I can't sleep because I have to work. I can't work well because I'm sick. I just polished off my prescription. This sucks.

Back In Vegreville

Hi all!

First off, my brothers and I went to Calgary. So I'm sorry I didn't call you Megan but I think you'll understand. And we decided we weren't going to get a hold of Calgary friends since we didn't have much time to do stuff there (sorry Duncan). Anyway, we went to the Calgary Doll show. It wasn't that great and only got a couple of things. But the shopping down there was fabulous. I'm jealous of their chinese stores. My brothers bought a lot of cool crap. Stanley managed to get himself a Nikki doll too!! I only got a few things.

Health wise, I'm starting to get better. I'm probably a zillion times more healthy but I still feel like crap. Doc, thanks for the linky link and understanding. After I play catch up with my work, I'll try to set up the web stuff for you. I'll go peek at your pics when I get a chance later tonight.

My computer's down. Monitor likes to turn itself off. Going to take it in. Don't be shocked at my lack of online presence.
I'm also going to spend the weekend with Stanley and Sam. Hopefully I don't push my luck because I'm still pretty sick.

Note to MWDers: I'm having problems logging into MWD today. I was just going to give the heads up to some of you about my computer status. Every time I try to log in the connection would "time-out". And Andrea, I took a quick peek at your new stuff. All I can say is :D :D :D :D :D!!! mmmm, gothy punky! And the Tyler outfits are hot! Amazing since you didn't use fish fabric. ;)

Health is improving. Today I only had one major coughing fit. I've started to sneeze, too. They are some of the most powerful sneezes I've ever had.

I have nothing much to post. I've been flatting pages like crazy today, and sleeping. Stupid bronchitis. Been a while since I've posted a picture. I have a bunch of photos on Stanley's camera. Sadly, he hasn't sent the pics to me yet.

Paper DVD

A new type of Blu-Ray digital video disk made largely from paper has been developed by Sony and Toppan Printing in Japan. The two companies say such paper-based disks will be cheaper to make and less environmentally harmful.

If anyone was wondering what happened to me lately, Aaaaargh! I'm sick again. This time I can't talk because of how sore my throat is and I have a very heavy feeling in my chest (bad chest cold maybe) plus body aches galore. Blah. Excuse me as I roll over and pass out.

Easter Weekend

Hi, I hope everyone had a good Easter. Dean and I went out to his parent's place on Saturday and had the best turkey I've ever had. Instead of roasting it, they put it on a rotisserie. It turned out to be very moist and delicious. Dean's brother Sean was hilarious. At first he was playing his guitar wearing his dad's leather jacket. he looked like a heart throb straight from the 1950s. He did some John Travolta moves that streaked up his mom's floor. He gave some lines to an aunt like "Is your father a thief? Because I think he stole the stars from the heavens and put them in your eyes".

For Easter Sunday, we went to Dean's grandmother's for "dinner" (it happens at 1pm but the call it dinner). Anyway, Dean's grandmother has the best turkey stuffing. I think I just took the stuffing and didn't grab any actual turkey meat. It was nice to see his cousins all again, too.

One thing everyone constantly asked me was what I though of Vegreville. Overall, it's nice. There are a few amenities I miss, like my family, a chinese grocery store or a Zellers and a place to buy comic books. But as people kept asking me what I though of Vegreville, one negative point came to my head. the drivers here are HORRIBLE. I've never seen such a large ratio of lousy drivers in my life. I cannot blame the young or old. It's drivers of all ages. I do not know how many times I wished I had heat vision just to pop idiots tires. Gah!

Kosher

Since it's Passover/Easter time, I decided to look up "Kosher meals" on Google. I get: "Dating Sexy Jewish Singles in Your City"

@_@ That wasn't what I was looking for. I keep searching and find a kosher catering menu with "Asian Gyoza with ginger soy sauce or Wasabi cream sauce"

"Asian Gyoza?" As opposed to what? French Gyoza? Gyozas are a Japanese dumpling (or "potsticker" as seen in the freezer section of Canadian grocery stores). I guess they are Asian, but did it really needed to be labeled as such?

It almost reminds me of the time my sister and I went to a mongolian restaurant and asked for tea, the waiter asked "chinese or regular?" My sister said "chinese tea is regular tea to me!" Haha!

Look! It's a Cool Girl of ME!!!

I lied. She does look and dress like me though. It's actually a Takara Cool Girl of Luna (played by actress Kumiko Aso) from the new Japanese movie Casshern. Cashern is a live action movie based on an anime and it looks like it's going to be sweeter than most American movies. Click here to see the trailer.
