In Edmonton

Internet was cutting out all day. I'll blame Telus just 'cuz.

We went to Value Village and I bought a neat padded shiny black vest and we got an awesome big old IBM computer. It's about 3 feet. At first we thought it would make a great end table, but when we opened it, we found the big fat manual and a couple of 5" floppy disks. When we get this back to Vegreville tonight, we'll try to resurrect it.

I also paid off my provincial Student Loan this week. I'm well on track to pay off my Canada Student Loan this year, so I can be rid of dealing with the Royal Bank ever again. It seems the RBC bank tellers think the Student Loan department are idiots. I have to agree with them.

Busy Week

Still busy. I thought things would slow down but I guess not. Things are looking dim fro the Cy Girls / Cool Girl site to be ready before the end of the month. Gonna have to shoot for March. That makes me a it sad, but sometimes things can't be helped.

Work Work Work Work Work

Heh. Another busy week for Dean and I. Seems that books like to come in all at once or not at all. I love the work but I get sad that I can't work on my website projects (Cool Girl and the Swingin' Web Space). Actually, I have a bit of the creative bug right now. Maybe I'll work on some drawings. This is my first time-out since Sunday.

Life update: My cousin and her boyfriend came and gone. It was really nice to see her. Most of my friends and family are at a distance and maybe only a couple seem to write me on a regular basis. Curse you kids! Why aren't you more internet savvy? It seems like we need to replace our shingles this year. We kinda knew we would have to soon anyway. Both the washer and the dryer are functional so I've done quite a bit of laundry lately. I've spent quite a bit of time going to the bank. I ended up closing down my account so the stupid Royal Bank doesn't pull money from my account again. They've done it twice now and it still isn't February 20th. I read a news article about some lottery winners and I was thinking, If I ever win the lottery, at the press conference, when they ask me what I will do with my winnings, I'll say "I'm paying off my god damn student loan so I'll never ever have to deal with the Royal Bank again!"

I have one more page to finish and I'm calling it a night.

Swingin' Update

I just made a new layout for the news section of my Space Channel 5 Swingin' Web Space. Now every article will have a little picture. I also turned it into a blog so it'll be a bit less work to update.

My cousin is on her way here. She should arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon. I'll probably be a bit scarce the next couple of days while she visits. I guess I should start cleaning the house.

My cousin is coming to visit me this weekend! YAY! I'm so excited. I can show her around town to the giant easter egg, and the.. uhh.. maybe I'll take her sledding if the weather is good. At the very least, it'll be nice to hang out with her.
