Coming Soon
Thank you for visiting my crappy website. I'm currently trying to make it un-crappy.

-First off, I've been playing around with iPhoto to get an online gallery going for my photos and art and scans. Hopefully I'll have something up by the first week of August.
-Then I'm going to get Dean to help me put a commentary feature on my blog anyone who reads this can communicate with me.
-Meanwhile, I want to polish off my design for my site. I guess I'll add a bit of something to make it more comic book-y.
-And whenever I get to it, I'll put up some sort biography or profile of myself.
-In between all of this, I'm going to have to buckle down and draw some art for my site. That's probably what I wanted to do the most and I didn't bring a sketchbook with me to San Diego. Such a shame because I could have had all sorts of art from all sorts of artists. Ah well... maybe next year.

Tear Free Onion
Original article from: http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/07/24/1058853174568.html

A tear-free onion - so mild it can be eaten like an apple - is about to go on sale in Britain.

The "Supasweet" onion has been developed by British farmers. Rather than being genetically modified, the new onion has been specially bred and grown in low-sulphur soils to cut its pyruvic acid content by half.

This is the substance that irritates tear ducts, skin and nostrils when an onion's flesh is cut and exposed to the air.

Supermarket chain Tesco's fresh produce director, Steve Murrells, said the invention would be wonderful news for millions of people.

"It heralds the beginning of a new era of food without tears.

"While many of us will have suffered the stinging effect of peeling onions, a minority experience such a severe reaction that they never cook with onions again.

"Since onions form the base of so many of today's dishes, the Supasweet will open up a new world of cooking to them."

I need REVENGER GIRL!!
On the new Teen Titans cartoon, PuffyAmiYumi do the theme song and its sooo goood! Go to the Teen Titans Website and hear a bit of the music and see the really awesome rollovers of the Titans' heads!!!

When I was in San Diego, I was asking the people at Blue Box Toys about Revenger Girl and they were asking me "would you buy her?" SO Please PLEASE make sure to write BBI. You can contact them HERE! Tell your friends! Tell your Family! Tell Blue Box Toys! We need Revenger Girl!!

They also confirmed with me that they will release CG-12 Blue Lightning. Her name will be Elektra.

Sadly, I did not get the Shi Doll there (They only had 50 and sold out in two hours!!) *SOB* I didn't get there until after 2pm! or the limited edition silver or gold bodies.

GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!
So sad! I was snooping around ebay and someone is selling a Cy Girls named Angel that was limited to 25 only. When I went to the Blue Box Toys booth, I didn't see this doll. I assume they sold out. Sadly, I was at their booth on the first day. But I wasn't at the booth at opening. So I LOSE! Now I'll never have all of the Cy Girls. Poo! I'm going to cry.

San Diego
We should have been here around 7pm. Not midnight. They only CANCELLED our flight because they couldn't handle flying in the *gasp* rain. I'd hate to see these pilots in places like Edmonton.

I'f your wondering, I did play some machines (I'm too cheap to play more than the nickle games). I won almost nothing on the first day, and didn't play again until I was at the airport and won about $10. In total, I probably came up a bit under in the end.

Sorry I didn't post in Vegas. There is a real lack of internet there. I guess they want to ensure you leave your hotel as much as possible and gamble gamble gamble. I made some notes about the last two days so I'm going to have to make some backlogged posts over the next little while.

Leaving Canada
Location: 10 minutes outside of Vegreville, Alberta, Canada

I have re-packed our things down into two pieces of luggage (from three) and we're leaving for the airport in an hour. I don't think I have internet in Vegas so you might not see posts from me for a couple of days. Here's hoping it all goes well!

Grandpa's 80th Birthday
Location: 10 minutes outside of Vegreville, Alberta, Canada

(Not my grandfather, Dean's).

It was a Welsh Family party and there were lots of seniors and not as old people, a few youngins' and lots of silliness, furniture being thrown into the firepit and alcohol. The fake penis nose the drunken adults pulled out sure gave the little kids something to talk about. One girl said "I know what that is! Its a NUT!" They partied long and hard. I get along with Dean's family fine, but that kinda partying just ain't my thing. Maybe that's why Dean's totally against drinking. (and the smoking.. BLEUGH!!) Oh, the eating! I was into that. I ended up watching an amazing lightining storm with a few of Dean's cousins and a couple of kids. The colours were dazzling. Not just the blue-white you usually see, but there were reds, golds, pinks, and oranges. The variety included rolling lightining, bolts, veins, patterns I've never seen before dancing across the sky. It was so beautiful.
